You’ve likely see the lime green bike-share bicycles spread across Seattle, but now Lime is reportedly expanding into cars.
Starting this week, Lime will bring 50 company-branded Fiat 500s to Seattle, allowing users to reserve a “LimePod” to drive around the city, according to a story in Bloomberg
For users it’ll cost $1 to unlock the car and then be charged 40 cents per minute, the article stated. For their bicycles, it costs $1 to unlock and 5 cents per minute of use.
The company plans to have up to 500 cars available on Seattle’s streets by the end of the year and 1,500 by 2019, according to Bloomberg.
